We'd like to share with you an amazing Christmas card that we received from one of our clients, Jane Taylor. This is a watercolour image of Catriona, Jane Byrne's winning model in the National Hairdressers' Federation 'Britain's Best' competition. We think the card's just brilliant.

The Salon Vie teams enjoyed a glittering Christmas party at The Alpine Ball, Tatton Park.
November 2015 : Salon Vie Wins First Place, Twice!, at 'Britain's Best'
Massive congratulations to Jane Byrne and Emma Davies who are first place WINNERS at a national hairdressing competition, 'Britain's Best', run by the National Hairdressers' Federation, held at the Heritage Motor Museum and Conference Centre near Warwick.
Jane and Emma both took first place in what were two of the most prestigious competitions, Jane winning in the Fantasy Total Look and Emma winning in Colour of The Day. They were up against a lot of talented competition, from salons across the country, so these really are major achievements for them both. On the day, Jane had three hours, under monitored conditions, to create the final look which was then paraded around the competion arena.
We mustn't forget some other members of the Salon Vie team, Ami, Debbie, Charlotte and Tara who all did superb work but, unfortunately, didn't win this time.
Congratulations again to Jane and Emma who've made Salon Vie officially one of Britain's Best!
August 2015 : In-Salon Training with Debbie G
The Salon Vie team have had a masterclass in advanced haircutting techniques from Debbie G, former Creative Director for Vidal Sassoon Academy London and, nowadays, a globetrotting educator.
July 2015 : A Spa Day for the Tattenhall Team
Salon Vie's Tattenhall team have been for a relaxing spa day at the Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel and Spa, near Chester.
June 2015 : Passionate Professionals - Birmingham
The Salon Vie team have been to Birmingham for a workshop, named Passionate Professionals, presented by Desmond Murray, a multi-award winning hairdresser including Men's Hairdresser of the Year, and Alan Austin Smith, business coach and owner of The Fantastic Hairdresser Company. The day was an excellent combination of artistic and business skills.
The model's hair in the second photo was covered in a solidified glue and glitter mixture, and she'd slept in it!
June 2015 : Principles of Design at the Redken Academy
Chloe and Jasmine have been on a hairdressing masterclass, Principles of Design, at the Redken Academy in Manchester.
May 2015 : BeautyWorld 2015
Jane's been to a MASSIVE show for the hair and beauty industry, in Manchester as is often the case. The bus seemed to take ages to get there, Manchester seemed to be a LOT warmer than usual and the Beetham tower looked far more pointy, having been renamed to Burj Khalifa. A possible clue as to what went on is that the show was called BeautyWorld Middle East and the venue was Dubai World Trade Centre!.
March 2015 : Schwarzkopf Essential Looks Summer 2015
We've been to Manchester to see Schwarzkopf Essential Looks Summer 2015, a forecast of upcoming hair trends, held in the dramatic surroundings of the Manchester Monastery. The show was themed around three looks, Pearlescent Girls, Hippi Glam and Rok Chik.
March 2015 : Professional Hairdresser Live 2015 in Manchester
Last weekend, the Salon Vie team was in Manchester getting inspired at Professional Hairdresser Live 2015.
February 2015 : When in Rome ...
They say that all roads lead to Rome so that's why we must have ended up here. Some of Salon Vie's senior stylists had a truly great time exploring the beautiful city of Rome for a couple of days. We enjoyed it that much, we all want to go back.
